Step Four

Though it looks simple enough, this part took quite a bit of time to get the colors right. The wild cherry tree has beautiful bark, intricate colorization. I had to build up numerous layers and add accents.
Here's Step Four. Only two more to go.

  1. So riveting to see your art work developing! You are most patient to get the branches so realistic with color and texture. I must have patience to wait for the robin! Is it a male or female? I can never discern.

    1. Some birds are so easy to tell if they are male or female. Others, like the Robin are more difficult. About the only difference is that the female is a bit duller in color. This one is definitely a male.
