A New Ritual

This has become a daily ritual. Each morning, my two crows fly in and sit atop the pine tree and begin to call my name, quite loudly I must add. I gather my camera and sketchbook and go outside. They stay long enough for me to capture their portraits, then fly off. What a lovely relationship we have!

  1. I'm so jealous! I love crows and cannot get them to even stop on their way over to somewhere else...and yet they'll hang out in the parking lot of the fast food restaurants nearby :( Maybe I should put out old bread and taco shells? ha ha

    1. I know you love them, and you paint them beautifully! Perhaps you need to take your sketchbook to the parking lot or come here for a visit!

  2. LOL! I can see me now set up in the Taco Bell parking lot, sketching the crows as they sit on the light poles high above, squawking at me to move it, lady, I want that taco shell!! ha ha Sweetie has a photographer friend who gets crows at his place coming to dip bread in his birdbath, but he says he's never set up to take good photos for me :( Someday I'll be in the right place at the right time with a camera!! I would love to come for a visit...someday in the future...who knows?

    1. I am not a professional photographer, but I'd be happy to send you copies of my pics if you like. They're pretty good if I do say so. If you'd like, send me an email at : ofcorsa3@gmail.com

PS: I have sat in the parking lot at McDonalds sketching sea gulls. Pathetic huh?!
